JOB DESCRIPTIONMidland Transport is currently seeking a reliable and safety?focused Freight Handler to join our Moncton Temperature Facility. In this role, you will be responsible for operating a forklift and other material handling equipment, as well as loading, unloading, sorting, and handling freight in a fast-paced environment. You will help ensure shipments move efficiently through our terminal while maintaining accuracy, safety, and high service standards.Shift available:Saturday, Sunday (0800-2000)Monday, Friday (0800-1700) Benefits To Joining Midland: ? Safely and efficiently loading and unloading freight, both manually and using equipment? Communicating with other Dock Workers and supervisors to ensure safe and organized loading and unloading? Maintaining a clean, functional dock and work area? Flexible to assist in other areas if requiredQUALIFICATIONS? Education Required: Minimum High School Diploma? A minimum of 2 years of relevant dock/warehouse experience? Proven forklift operation experience in a warehouse setting? Strong commitment to working safely in a fast-paced environment? Ability to collaborate positively with others to achieve common goals? Proficient in reading and writing to complete required paperwork accurately? Efficient, reliable, and dedicated to maintaining high productivity? Basic math and organizational skills are required? Ability and willingness to work in a temperature-controlled facility, with temperatures ranging from 42°F to -15°FABOUT USFounded in 1882, J.D.
