About this role
*Responsibilities:*
* Serve daily meals and snacks to classrooms according to the menu and dietary restrictions. * Ensure food is portioned and delivered to classrooms in a safe and timely manner. * Collect dishes and utensils after meals/snacks and return them to the kitchen. * Wash, sanitize, and properly store dishes, utensils, and serving equipment. * Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and food storage areas. * Follow proper food handling, storage, and rotation procedures at all times. * Support with light food preparation as directed (e.g., plating, portioning, heating). * Assist with ratio support in classrooms if needed or requested by management. * Perform other related duties as assigned.
*Qualifications:*
* Food Handling Certificate (required). * Experience working in a childcare, school, or food service setting (preferred). * Knowledge of safe food handling and sanitation practices. * Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
*Must Have:*
* Vulnerable Sector Check. * Up-to-date Immunization Record including TB Test. * Valid First Aid & CPR-C certification.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $18.00-$21.00 per hour
