\*Job Summary\* We are seeking a dedicated Dental Assistant to join our dental practice.
The ideal candidate will assist the dentist during a variety of treatment procedures, help patients feel comfortable before, during, and after dental treatment, and ensure the dental office runs efficiently.
\*Responsibilities\*
- Prepare patients for dental procedures by welcoming, comforting, seating, and draping patients
- Assist the dentist in managing medical and dental emergencies when necessary - Take and develop dental radiographs (x-rays)
- Provide patients with instructions for oral care following surgery or other dental treatment procedures - Maintain accurate patient records and schedule appointments
- Sterilize dental instruments and equipment - Educate patients on appropriate oral hygiene strategies
\*Requirements\*
- Certification or associate degree in Dental Assisting preferred / not needed
- Proficiency in Dentrix, Epic, and CAD software preferred
- Knowledge of orthodontics, pediatrics, and medical terminology is a plus
- Previous experience as a Dental Assistant or Dental Receptionist is advantageous
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Pay: $18.00-$29.00 per hour
Experience: * Dental Assisting: 1 year (preferred)
Licence/Certification: * Certified Dental Assistant (preferred)
