_*The Opportunity*_
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Bookkeeper to join our team! The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing full-cycle bookkeeping functions, payroll processing, reconciliations, financial reporting, and government remittances for multiple entities. This role requires a high level of accuracy, strong time-management skills, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining confidentiality and professionalism.

_*Essential Functions*_
* Manage day-to-day bookkeeping for multiple properties and entities. * Complete month-end closings, ensuring all financial transactions are accurately recorded in a timely manner. * Maintain accurate general ledger entries and supporting documentation. * Perform accounts payable functions. * Handle full-cycle bookkeeping for multiple entities. * Prepare financial reports and assist with financial analysis as required. * Compile and submit government remittances, including HST, WSIB, source deductions and corporate tax payments. * Process payroll for select companies. * Assist with year-end working papers and preparation for corporate tax filings. * Maintain organized corporate records and documentation. * Provide general administrative and office support for holding companies as needed.
_*Who You Are*_
* Minimum of 2 years of bookkeeping or accounting experience. * Post-secondary degree or diploma in Accounting, Bookkeeping, or a related field is considered an asset. * Proficiency with Microsoft 365 applications, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. * Strong understanding of accounting principles, practices, and financial reporting standards. * Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills. * Strong writing, editing, research, and document formatting abilities. * Ability to adapt quickly, think critically, and manage a variety of responsibilities in a fast-paced environment. * Exceptional organizational and multitasking skills with the ability to prioritize effectively. * Self-motivated with the ability to work efficiently, independently, and collaboratively. * Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to challenges. * High level of accuracy and exceptional attention to detail.
