*Role Overview*
The Medical Office Assistant (MOA) is responsible for supporting the daily operations of the clinic by providing administrative, organizational, and patient-care coordination support. MOAs are expected to maintain professionalism, confidentiality, efficiency, and excellent communication while ensuring a positive patient experience.
*Key Responsibilities:*
* Greet patients, visitors, and physicians in a professional and respectful manner. * Answer incoming phone calls and respond to inquiries promptly. * Schedule, confirm, cancel, and reschedule appointments. * Manage physician schedules and appointment templates. * Scan, upload, fax, and file medical documents accurately. * Process referrals, requisitions, and consultation requests. * Maintain accurate patient records within the EMR system. * Ensure patient statuses are updated correctly during check-in and rooming. * Maintain cleanliness and organization of reception and administrative areas. * Monitor office and medical supply inventory. * Work collaboratively with physicians, management, and clinic staff. * Maintain professional communication with patients and coworkers. * Arrive on time and maintain reliable attendance. * Follow clinic policies, procedures, and workflow expectations.

*Qualifications:*
* Previous experience in healthcare or clinic operations preferred. * Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. * Very strong interpersonal and customer service skills.. * Proficient in Microsoft Office and electronic medical record systems.
