* Administrative Assistant for the Director of Mine Technical Department * Full time position * Health and dental benefits. * Bussing from Fort McMurray (priority given to local Fort McMurray resident). * Flights covered from Edmonton or Calgary- camp accommodations * 4 Days on, 3 Days off, 10 hour days. * Monday to Thursday.
*Job Roles*
* Working hand in hand with the department director * Booking travel and camp accommodations for the whole department * Maintain accurate tracking of all safety documents and safety programs * Compile monthly costing reports * Weekly auditing of various reports throughout the department * Looking after expense reports for various managers * help out other departments for vacation coverage * Ensuring payroll is accurate as well as tracking vacation and sick time
*Preferred Qualifications:*
* Experience using Microsoft Office Suites. * Proficient in Microsoft Excel with the ability to build charts and presentations. * Excellent attention to detail and a desire for 100% accuracy * Experience with OTL payroll processing is a bonus * Data entry experience. * Experience in one on one, group interactions, and presentation. * Overall support for Management Team. * Strong written and communication skills. * Solid organization and time management skills. * The ability to work independently but with good judgement to seek support and guidance when appropriate. * The ability to work well with a wide variety of people including office, field staff, diverse cultures and various work experience levels. * Be a team player. * Must bring a great attitude and desire to learn. * Successfully complete a pre-employment drug and alcohol test.
