*Duties:*
· Perform thorough dental cleanings and examinations, including scaling, sealants, and polishing teeth.
· Assess patients? oral health and document finding in the patient management system.
· Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and preventive care.
· Assist the dentist during procedures as needed.
· Maintain accurate patient records.
· Ensure compliance with infection control protocols and maintain a clean working environment.
· Provide exceptional customer service to enhance patient experience and satisfaction.
· Collaborate with the dental team to develop treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs.
· Must be registered with the College of Dental Hygienists of Ontario (CDHO).
· Maintains a valid CPR/First Aid Certification.
_*Responsibilities:*_
· Perform dental hygiene procedures including teeth cleaning, scaling, and polishing.
· Recording patients? data
· Conduct oral health assessments and provide patients with simple terms with oral hygiene techniques.
· Take dental X-rays as needed.
· Upkeeping both the laboratory and operatory environments
· Maintain accurate patient records and treatment plans.
· Collaborate with the dental team to ensure high-quality patient care.
