About this role

*Overview* We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Ranch Hand to join our team. This role involves maintaining and supporting daily operations on the ranch, ensuring the health and productivity of horses and petting farm animals. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, horse knoweldge and horseback riding experience, mechanical aptitude, and the ability to perform physically demanding tasks in an outdoor environment.

*Duties*

* Assist with horse care, including feeding, watering, and general health monitoring * Maintain fences, gates, and other infrastructure to ensure safety and security * Operate farm machinery such as tractors, mowers, and other heavy equipment safely and efficiently * Perform routine maintenance on equipment and tools using hand tools and power tools * Support irrigation systems installation, repair, and management to ensure proper water distribution * Perform heavy lifting of supplies, feed bags, equipment parts, or livestock materials * Monitor property for issues related to pests or damage and report or address accordingly

*Requirements*

* Mechanical knowledge with experience operating farm machinery and power tools * Ability to perform heavy lifting regularly and operate heavy equipment safely * Basic math skills for measurements, calculations, and record keeping * Experience with maintenance tasks related to farm infrastructure and equipment * Strong work ethic with the ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions * Physical stamina for long hours of manual labor in a rural setting * Prior experience in ranching is a plus but not mandatory; willingness to learn is essential

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Casual, Seasonal

Pay: $16.00-$16.25 per hour
