Education: Master's degree. Tasks: Coordinate patient care. Evaluate patient care and progress. Implement an interdisciplinary plan of care. Interpret medical test results . Monitor patients and advise physician of any changes in patients' condition. Order medical diagnostic or clinical tests. Plan patient care. Advise patients on health care. Order laboratory tests, X-rays and other diagnostic procedures. Conduct patient interviews, physical assessments and take medical histories. Provide health maintenance education. Provide consultative services regarding issues relevant to nursing profession and nursing practice.
