About this role
As a Vice-President reporting to the President, your executive leadership will also focus on developing and implementing strategies, programs, and initiatives to advance the government's national economic development agenda in the region. Key responsibilities include:• Providing cohesive departmental leadership through the integration of policy, program development, delivery, and resource management.• Establishing partnerships with federal, provincial, and municipal governments, industry associations, and stakeholders to drive economic growth.• Addressing regional economic challenges, and developing innovative solutions to enhance competitiveness.• Advocating for the region's economic interests and representing the Agency's priorities to senior decision-makers, including the Minister and federal officials.• Managing human and financial resources, ensuring cost-effectiveness and organizational efficiency.
