Tri-Axle Dump Truck Driver (AZ/DZ)
*Location:* Highway 655, Timmins, Ontario *Job Type:* Full-Time *Work Location:* Timmins and surrounding area (Local work ? Home every night)
We are looking for a dependable and experienced *AZ or DZ Tri-Axle Dump Truck Driver* to join our growing team. If you take pride in operating equipment safely, delivering exceptional service, and working in a fast-paced construction environment, we'd love to hear from you.
Responsibilities
* Safely operate a tri-axle dump truck to transport aggregates, sand, gravel, topsoil, construction materials, snow and other loads to and from job sites throughout the Timmins area. * Perform aggregate hauling safely and efficiently while meeting delivery schedules. * Complete daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safe operation and compliance. * Maintain accurate driver logs, delivery records, and inspection reports. * Secure loads and ensure materials are transported safely and efficiently. * Follow all traffic laws, Ministry of Transportation regulations, and company safety policies. * Drive safely according to road and weather conditions. * Communicate effectively with dispatch, site supervisors, and customers. * Report any mechanical issues promptly and perform basic daily maintenance and housekeeping on the truck. * Assist with loading and unloading materials when required. * Maintain a clean, professional appearance of both the truck and worksite.
Qualifications
* Valid AZ or DZ driver's license with a clean driver's abstract. * Minimum 3 years of tri-axle dump truck and aggregate hauling experience. * Strong knowledge of construction sites, aggregate hauling, and safe load securement practices. * Strong commitment to workplace safety. * Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently. * Excellent communication and time management skills. * Manual Transmission * Fluent in English for communication with other driver's/operators
