THE ROLEThe Head Bartender assists with scheduling, monitoring of all bar activities and events according to established policies and regulations. You greet customers, prepares and serves mixed drinks, wine, draft or bottled beer and non-alcoholic beverages for patrons. The Head Bartender assists with organizing and monitoring private functions, as required. You also assist with staff supervision and training and hiring, as required. QUALIFICATIONS NEEDEDEducation, Certifications and Licenses High school diploma AND some years of bartender experience (OR An acceptable combination of education, training, and experience will also be considered) AND Must be of legal age to serve alcohol (NL) Must possess a Responsible Service of Alcohol certification (NL) Experience In serving alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks In cash handling In bar operations In inventory control In personnel administration Competencies Client focus, organizational knowledge, communication, innovation, teamwork and leadership.
