We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented cleaner to join our team.
*Responsibilities *
* Carry out all cleaning tasks as assigned in resident common spaces and employee spaces (offices, washrooms, banquet halls/foyer, health club, pool area, guest suites) * Identify efficient methods to be used in carrying out routine cleaning tasks for desired results * Regularly use various cleaning products * Provide a clean, welcoming environment for residents, vendors, and employees * Collect debris/waste, empty trash containers, and dispose properly * General cleaning duties include, but are not limited to sweeping/mopping floors, window/mirror cleaning, dusting, dishware and cutlery cleaning, furniture cleaning * Service, clean and disinfect washrooms, replenish consumable items (soap, toilet rolls, paper towels) as required * Removal and collection of linens as needed * Positively impact the lives of all our residents by directly enhancing their exceptional experiences. * Exercise good judgment and demonstrate leadership abilities * Prepares and sets up rooms or auditoriums for meetings, parties, or various other activities and cleans up afterwards. * Monitors need for equipment maintenance and repair. Repairs any minor items (light switches, handles, etc.) * Actively participates in Health and Safety responsibilities to ensure a safe workplace for all. * Locks or unlocks doors, turns lights on/off, generally patrols grounds. * Other duties as assigned
*Qualifications *
* Friendly, professional, and customer focused * Ability to tolerate cleaning products * Reliable with strong attention to detail * Ability to stay motivated when completing tasks * Ability to work independently and part of a team with minimal supervision * Previous cleaning experience an asset * Flexible schedule to accommodate weekends and various times of day * Preferred demonstrated experience in a multiple unit/building environment * Excellent spoken and written communication skills * Excellent ability to organize and manage multiple tasks and prioritize as necessary * Experience working with seniors an asset
*Requirements *
* Vulnerable Sector Police Screening * Ability to read, write, speak English * Ability to use mobile phone, electronic communication (email) and Electronic Work Order System via mobile device * Must be physically capable of assuming the duties of the position from the date of appointment * Knowledge of computer systems

Hours of Work: 20- 40 hours per week
* Ability to stand/walk for up to 8 hours each day * Ability to lift-up to 20 lbs independently * Ability to climb ladders/stairs, work from heights, operate basic mechanical tools and equipment

Part Time/Permanent - Potential for full time in future
Flexible scheduling including some weekends
Pay: $19 per hour
