The Canadian Geodetic Survey Division provides authoritative reference values, products and services available online for the integration of precise positioning and gravity measurements into national standards. These products serve as the common foundation for all mapping, charting, navigation, boundary demarcation, crustal deformation, and other georeferencing needs in Canada.As a senior member of a project team, the Senior Geodetic Engineer leads, plans, and oversees activities related to the development, modernization, and operation of one or more geodetic technologies, such as Global Navigation Satellite Systems (GNSS), gravity and geoid modelling, spatial reference systems, precise positioning, and control network adjustment. The incumbent provides expert technical leadership, strategic advice, and interpretation of complex results to colleagues, clients, stakeholders, and management.
