About Our Opportunity

The Department of Education and Early Childhood Development is seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Communications Clerk to support our day-to-day communications work. This entry-level role is a great opportunity to build practical experience in public sector communications while contributing to work that impacts Nova Scotians. Reporting to the Director of Communications, you will be part of a collaborative, close-knit team responsible for both proactive and responsive public-facing communications. You'll gain hands-on experience in areas such as media monitoring, social media, and event coordination, while supporting efforts to keep the public informed and engaged.
