SKIN MediSpa, partner of Dermapure, is Ontario?s preeminent, state-of-the-art skin treatment facility, delivering the highest standard of proven medical grade treatment programs across a wide range of aesthetic conditions including skin correction and enhancement, skin aging, fat and cellulite reduction, and hair loss in Sudbury. We are currently seeking a *Registered Nurse (RN)* to join our busy cosmetic skin clinic. Working under the direction of our Medical Director and Aesthetic Nurse Manager, the RN is responsible for providing direct patient care and treating the patient following both established and customized treatment plan protocols. The role will entail working both independently and as an assistant to Dr. Barr for some procedures.
The ideal candidate has experience with aesthetic injections and a working knowledge of cosmetic products and procedures. This position requires excellent customer service and communication skills and the ability to adapt to the changing needs of the medical spa as they evolve.
For success in the role, it is essential the candidate be detail focused with outstanding organizational and time management skills. The successful candidate will be an independent problem solver and a dedicated team member able to work collaboratively with peers to achieve outstanding aesthetic outcomes for our clients.
*Education and Experience:*
· Five (5) years of clinical experience ( Medical aesthetic injection experience preferred)
· Graduate of accredited Nursing program with a current Ontario license
· Bilingualism is considered an asset
*Required Qualifications:*
· Meticulous attention to detail
· Excellent interpersonal skills and a strong work ethic
· High level of organization, time management and multi-tasking capabilities
· Decision-making, analytical and problem-solving skills
· Computer literacy with Microsoft Office and comfort with EMRs to schedule and manage patient data
· Ability to learn and adapt quickly
· Ability to understand, execute and act on detailed instructions
*Responsibilities:*
· Meet with patients, review medical history and information with regards to their concerns and the procedure(s) they are seeking;
· Set up patient file, input medications and allergies in electronic medical records (EMR)
· Prepare room for procedures as required. (e.g. local anesthetic, botulinum toxin, dermal fillers, sclerotherapy etc)
· Deliver care in accordance with mutually agreed upon protocols and guidelines
· Review follow-up care with patient and answer any questions the patient may have;
· Provide patients with information about skin care products, aesthetic and cosmetic procedures that are available at our clinic;
· Maintain inventory-tracking for all consumable products (e.g. cosmetic injectables).
· Ensure that each exam room is clean, sanitized and ready for procedures;
