Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate. or equivalent experience. Tasks: Accept cash, cheque, credit card or automatic debit payment. Provide advice about merchandise. Provide customer service. Greet customers and discuss type, quality and quantity of merchandise or services sought for purchase, rental or lease. Maintain sales records for inventory control. Sell products on a retail basis. Perform opening and closing activities. Answer inquiries and provide information to customers. Contact potential customers by phone. Identify customers' needs . Type of product: Furniture and house furnishings. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Attention to detail. Handling heavy loads. Combination of sitting, standing, walking.
