About this role
Education: No degree, certificate or diploma. Tasks: Assist with landscape constructions. Weed, prune and trim trees and plants. Cut grass. Rake and collect refuse. Cart and spread topsoil and other materials. Lay sod or seed. Plant bulbs, flowers, shrubs and trees. Apply fertilizers. Water and tend to plants, lawns and/or gardens. Operate and maintain landscape maintenance equipment. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Physically demanding. Experience: Experience an asset. Support for youths: Offers on-the-job training tailored to youth. Offers mentorship, coaching and/or networking opportunities for youth.
