Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years. Tasks: Create three-dimensional (3-D) models with computer-aided design (CAD). Create two-dimensional (2-D) drawings with computer-aided design (CAD). Prepare proposals. Analyze technical documents and reports. Tender contracts. Prepare working drawings. Supervise architectural technical staff. Write specifications. Monitor and inspect work. Estimate costs and materials. Construct architectural and display models. Assist in design development.
