About this role

Education: Bachelor's degree. Work setting: Urban area. Tasks: Compile and analyze data on factors affecting land use. Design different land concepts. Recommend plans for zoning, subdivisions, transportation, public utilities, community facilities, parks, agricultural and other land uses. Supervise and co-ordinate work of urban planning technicians and technologists. Prepare plans for environmental protection. Long range planning. Public participation and conflict resolution. Specialization or experience: Green economy sector. Specialized environmental skills and knowledge. Security and safety: Criminal record check. Transportation/travel information: Valid driver's licence. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Fast-paced environment. Work under pressure.
