About this role
Education: No degree, certificate or diploma. Tasks: Load, unload and transport construction materials. Measure weight to prepare for rigging and hoisting. Perform pre-operational inspection. Clean and lubricate cranes. Erect and dismantle concrete forms, scaffolding, ramps, catwalks shoring and barricades. Operate pile driving cranes to drive pilings into earth to provide support for buildings and other structures. Mix, pour and spread materials such as concrete and asphalt. Assist in drilling and blasting rock on construction sites. Assist in framing houses, erecting walls and building roofs. Clean and pile salvaged materials. Perform routine maintenance work.
