About this role
Education: No degree, certificate or diploma. Tasks: Diagnose livestock health issues. Handling animals. Organize tasks to accomplish the work. Perform livestock feeding. Track and report on current feed inventory . Treat livestock health issues. Feed and tend animals. Operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment. Co-ordinate and supervise the work of general farm workers and harvesting labourers. Ensure farm safety and bio-security procedures are followed. Maintain livestock performance records. Maintain quality control and production records. Select livestock for sale. Clean stables, barns, barnyards and pens. Maintain work records and logs. Detect disease and health problems in crops, livestock and poultry. Perform general farm duties. Write daily basic progress reports. Screen job applicants.
