About this role
Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate. Work setting: Hospital or home for the aged. Tasks: Accompany patients on outdoor recreational activities. Assist with cleaning, sterilizing, setting up and assembling of medical equipment. Perform other duties related to patient care and comfort. Perform other duties related to personal care. Supply and empty bed pans. Take patients' blood pressure, temperature and pulse. Serve meal trays and feed patients. Make beds and maintain patients' rooms. Supervise patients' exercise routines. Bathe, dress and groom patients. Transport patients in wheelchair or stretcher. Answer call signals to determine patients' needs. Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses : First Aid Certificate. CPR Certificate. Screening questions: Are you available for shift or on-call work?.
