Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate. or equivalent experience. Work site environment: Non-smoking. Work setting: Employer's home. Optional accommodation available at no charge on a live-in basis. Note: This is NOT a condition of employment. Work in employer's/client's home. Tasks: Assume full responsibility for household in absence of parents. Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties. Wash, iron and press clothing and household linens. Maintain a safe and healthy environment in the home. Organize, activities such as games and outings for children. Prepare and serve nutritious meals. Take children to and from school and to appointments. Help children with homework. Transportation/travel information: Public transportation is available. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Repetitive tasks. Personal suitability: Client focus. Initiative. Judgement. Organized. Reliability. Experience: 1 to less than 7 months. Support for newcomers and refugees: Supports social and labour market integration of newcomers and/or refugees (for example: facilitating access to community resources, language training, skills training, etc.). Support for youths: Offers mentorship, coaching and/or networking opportunities for youth. Support for Indigenous people: Offers mentorship, coaching and/or networking opportunities for Indigenous workers .
