Education: No degree, certificate or diploma. Work setting: Various locations. Tasks: Load and unload goods. Perform brake adjustments. Perform emergency roadside repairs. Perform pre-trip, en route and post-trip inspection and oversee all aspects of vehicle. Receive and relay information to central dispatch. Record cargo information, hours of service, distance travelled and fuel consumption. Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses : Driver's License (Class 1 or A). Documentation knowledge: Driver logbook. Inspection report (pre-trip, en-route, post-trip). Transportation/travel information: Valid driver's licence. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Handling heavy loads. Physically demanding. Sitting. Weight handling: Up to 13.5 kg (30 lbs). Personal suitability: Excellent oral communication. Organized.
