Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate. Work site environment: At heights. Confined spaces. Work setting: Construction. Various locations. Relocation costs not covered by employer. Willing to relocate. Tasks: Prepare estimates of labour and/or material costs. Read blueprints, drawings and sketches to determine work requirements. Measure, cut, shape, assemble and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel and other materials. Build foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring and erect walls and roof systems. Fit and install windows, doors, stairs, mouldings and hardware. Schedule and co-ordinate work on sites. Maintain, repair and renovate residences and wooden structures in mills, mines, hospitals, industrial plants and other establishments. Equipment and machinery experience: Hand tools. Transportation/travel information: Willing to travel. Public transportation is available. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Bending, crouching, kneeling. Handling heavy loads. Physically demanding. Screening questions: Do you have experience working in this field?. Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year. Employment terms options: Day. Overtime available.
