About this role
Education: No degree, certificate or diploma. Tasks: Load, unload and transport construction materials. Erect and dismantle concrete forms, scaffolding, ramps, catwalks shoring and barricades. Mix, pour and spread materials such as concrete and asphalt. Level earth to fine grade specifications. Assist in demolishing buildings. Clean and pile salvaged materials. Remove rubble and other debris at construction sites. Tend or feed machines or equipment used in construction. Operate power vibrators to compact concrete. Measure, cut, fit and install drywall sheets. Assist skilled tradespersons. Assist equipment operators to secure attachments to equipment or truck. Ensure adherence to safety regulations.
