About this role
Education: No degree, certificate or diploma. Tasks: Operate metal cleaning equipment to remove excess welds, rust, scale and other materials from surfaces of metal products. Transport items throughout plant using powered equipment. Transport raw materials, finished products and equipment throughout plant manually . Sort metal sheets and parts, scrap metal and other materials. Clean machines and immediate work areas. Load and unload vehicle. Read and interpret work orders. Weight handling: Up to 23 kg (50 lbs). Personal suitability: Dependability. Flexibility. Reliability. Resourcefulness. Experience: No experience (will train). Employment terms options: Day. Support for youths: Participates in a government or community program or initiative that supports youth employment.
