Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years. Child care and support services management. Developmental services worker. Human services, general. Social work, other. Social sciences, other. Mental health counselling/counsellor. Work setting: Rural area. Hospital/medical facility or clinic. Mental health institution, facility or clinic. Tasks: Prepare reports or case histories. Implement life skills workshops. Assess client's relevant skill strengths and development needs. Develop, co-ordinate and implement the delivery of specific services within the community. Food preparation. Resolve conflict situations. Liaise with other social services agencies and health care providers involved with clients. Accompany clients to appointments and social outings. Supervision: 1 to 2 people.
