Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate. or equivalent experience. Work site environment: Non-smoking. Scent free. Work setting: Employer's home. Tasks: Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties. Discipline children according to the methods requested by the parents. Maintain a safe and healthy environment in the home. Organize, activities such as games and outings for children. Prepare and serve nutritious meals. Supervise and care for children. Take children to and from school and to appointments. Help children with homework. Personal suitability: Reliability. Patience. Experience: 1 to less than 7 months. Support for newcomers and refugees: Assists with immediate settlement needs of newcomers and/or refugees (for example: housing, transportation, storage, childcare, winter clothing, etc.). Provides diversity and cross-cultural trainings to create a welcoming work environment for newcomers and/or refugees . Support for youths: Offers on-the-job training tailored to youth. Provides awareness training to employees to create a welcoming work environment for youth. Support for Indigenous people: Provides cultural competency training and/or awareness training to all employees to create a welcoming work environment for Indigenous workers .
