Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years. Tasks: Develop and conduct production, inventory and quality assurance programs. Inspect processes. Oversee production . Set machine or equipment controls. Design plant layouts and production facilities. Conduct work measurement or other studies. Conduct safety training programs. Collect and compile operational or experimental data. Collect and analyze data and samples. Develop manufacturing and processing procedures. Monitor production and troubleshoot production problems. Computer and technology knowledge: Data analysis software. Database software. Computer-aided design (CAD). Use computer numerical control (CNC) machines.
