Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 3 months to less than 1 year. or equivalent experience. Work site environment: Outdoors. At heights. Repair cable signals. Test equipment to locate transmission faults. Install trunking systems, circuits and equipment. Complete and maintain test and service reports. Climb and work aloft on poles, ladders or other support structures. Install cable modems and software to enable Internet access. Maintain and repair aerial and underground transmission systems. Repair or replace faulty cables, power suppliers and amplifiers. Splice, join and connect wires. Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses : Working at heights training. CPR Certificate. First Aid Certificate. Transportation/travel information: Valid driver's licence. Own transportation. Travel expenses paid by employer. Own vehicle.
