About this role
Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 3 months to less than 1 year. or equivalent experience. Tasks: Clear and collect brush and debris from fields, pens and other work areas. Develop specific plans to prioritize. Direct farm feed inventory activities . Handling animals. Monitoring animal health. Organize tasks to accomplish the work. Treat livestock health issues. Assist in the development and implementation of farm safety and bio-security procedures. Co-ordinate and supervise the work of general farm workers and harvesting labourers. Ensure farm safety and bio-security procedures are followed. Formulate feeding program. Maintain livestock performance records. Maintain quality control and production records. Supervise and oversee growing and other crop-related operations. Hire and train staff.
