About this role
Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate. Tasks: Drive lighter, special purpose trucks. Load and unload goods. Perform brake adjustments. Perform emergency roadside repairs. Perform pre-trip, en route and post-trip inspection and oversee all aspects of vehicle. Perform preventive maintenance. Receive and relay information to central dispatch. Keep a record of items received and delivered. Use maps and other trip planning aids. Record trip information such as vehicle mileage, fuel costs and any problems. Follow directions and read map. Operate and drive automobiles, vans and light trucks to pick up and deliver various items and products.
