About this role
The Maritime Senior Advisor position for Innovation Norway China, located in Shanghai, will mainly assist our clients with market entry advisory and drive our activities within green maritime - supporting Norwegian businesses in entering and growing their position in the Chinese market. This is a position with substantial autonomy and the following competencies are of particular relevance: Business development and project management experience; knowledge of decarbonization processes in shipping; policymaking and legislation for the maritime industry in China, The Senior Advisor Maritime position for Innovation Norway China will assist clients through market entry strategies and drive initiatives within the green maritime sector, actively supporting Norwegian businesses to establish and expand in the Chinese market. You will work closely with Innovation Norway colleagues globally and collaborate extensively with the broader Team Norway China network (including the Norwegian Consulate General in Shanghai, the Norwegian Embassy in Beijing, and the Norwegian Business Association China).The candidate will be expected to undertake occasional travel throughout China and to Norway. The role reports to Innovation Norway’s Country Manager, based in Beijing, and will be integrated in Innovation Norway’s team in China.
