We are looking for a Junior IT Support Engineer with good problem-solving skills, attention to detail and an automation-driven approach to IT infrastructure.

Responsibilities: - Serve as first responder on the IT support queue - triage incoming requests and resolve common issues - Support end users with third-party trading applications, including installation, upgrades and basic connectivity checks, escalating application and platform issues to senior colleagues - Manage the lifecycle of office and workstation equipment - provisioning, imaging, configuration, troubleshooting, replacement and decommissioning - Administer end-user accounts, access rights and software licenses (AD groups, password/MFA resets, SaaS and AI-tool seats) - Provide in-person support for workstation, peripheral and hardware issues - Assist with hands-on datacenter work - cabling, racking, cleaning, and replacement of UPS batteries, power supplies and failed components - Maintain up-to-date internal documentation of processes and best practices, and document new procedures - Assist in monitoring infrastructure and identifying software and hardware issues - Progressively automate repetitive tasks (imaging, provisioning, onboarding) with guidance from the team - Coordinate with third-party vendors and suppliers on repairs and deliveries
Requirements: - IT-related education or experience - Good manual skills and willingness to perform physical work - cabling, racking and hardware replacement - Dell, HP, Cisco - Basic Linux familiarity (command line, file system, services) - Debian - Basic Windows troubleshooting knowledge (AD concepts, logs, services) - Willingness to learn scripting (Python, Bash) - we value automation of repetitive work English required, French a plus - Reliable, detail-oriented and proactive in asking questions - This position requires physical presence and is fully on-site (no remote work)
