Job Summary We are seeking an experienced Production Engineer with strong expertise in Steel Fabrication (Structural, Plates, and Piping) to manage and oversee fabrication activities for large-scale industrial projects including Refineries, Petrochemical plants, Fertilizer projects, and Storage Tank erection works. The candidate must have hands-on experience working with reputed contracting companies engaged in heavy fabrication and industrial construction projects. Client Interview in India in 1st week of March. Key Responsibilities Plan, coordinate, and supervise fabrication activities for structural steel, plate works, piping spools, and storage tanks. Ensure production targets are achieved in line with project schedules and quality standards. Interpret engineering drawings, fabrication drawings, and isometric drawings accurately. Monitor material utilization and control wastage. Coordinate with QA/QC, Planning, Procurement, and Project teams for smooth workflow. Ensure compliance with international codes and standards (ASME, API, AWS, etc.). Supervise welding, cutting, rolling, assembly, and fit-up activities. Prepare daily production reports and progress updates. Optimize manpower deployment and shop floor efficiency. Ensure adherence to HSE standards and safe work practices. Support project team during inspections, audits, and client visits. Identify process improvements to enhance productivity and reduce fabrication cycle time.
