About this role

Overview of position The International Journal of Language and Communication Disorders (IJLCD) is the RCSLT’s international, peer-reviewed journal, which publishes research focusing on speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders, and other relevant aspects of speech &amp; language therapy.<br> <br>We are seeking a new Associate Editor in the area of adult-focused research to join our supportive IJLCD editorial team.<br> <br>The role of Associate Editor offers the post-holder the opportunity to make a significant contribution to the dissemination of quality research in speech &amp; language therapy. What we are looking for The successful candidate for this position will:<br><ul><li>Have a PhD in a relevant academic discipline</li><li>Possess a proven track record (peer-reviewed publications, presentations at conferences, and/or other research enabling activities) within adult-focused research</li><li>Have experience of carrying out peer-review</li><li>Commit to carrying out the role for a minimum term of three years</li><li>Be able to participate in four editorial team meetings a year</li></ul> <br>Experience as an SLT and membership of the RCSLT is desirable.
