Ihre Aufgaben The <strong><em>Project Engineer </em></strong>is responsible for programming, troubleshooting, debugging, and resolving issues on-site and supporting the NEWSTON Automation Inspection product line. The Project Engineer is the front-line face to the customer to commission automated inspection equipment.<br><br><strong>Primary Duties and Responsibilities:</strong><br><ul><li>Participate in the installation and maintenance of automation (including robotic) measuring cells in production.</li><li>Accepts responsibility for customer voiced concerns and obtains/implements the appropriate solution and or involves the proper NEWSTON personnel to address the issue.</li><li>Support new and existing image processing systems, primarily in the automotive industry.</li><li>Provide technical support in our demonstration image processing robotics lab.</li><li>Communicate project status to the Project Managers, and support account teams, as necessary.</li><li>Startup automatic image processing systems, typically mounted on robots, at customer sites in North America.</li><li>Determine and execute corrective actions for installation errors, customer changes, or unanticipated circumstances in coordination with your supervisor.</li><li>Review project for compatibility with existing automated systems. </li><li>Communicate customer changes and needs to supplier engineering (Engineering/Manufacturing changes). </li><li>Complete administrative requirements as required.</li><li>Other duties as required.</li></ul><strong>Working Conditions and Special Demands:</strong><br>Seeking motivated individuals with strong engineering aptitude and a desire to be trained on items specific to this job.<br><ul><li><strong>Willing to travel 85% of time, including some international.</strong></li><li><strong>Willingness to work weekends/ overtime / work any shift.</strong></li><li>Ability to write clear and concise technical reports.</li><li>Ability to perform as a Teacher/Trainer for contractors and customers.</li><li>Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently.</li><li>System analytical solutions expertise in robotic automation cells.</li><li>Very good knowledge of robot programming, SPC and image processing preferred.</li></ul> Ihr Profil <strong>Experience and Education Requirements:</strong><br><strong> </strong><br><ul><li>Technical training and experience in corresponding environment.</li><li>Robotics experience preferred.</li><li>Strong verbal and written communication skills.</li><li>Knowledge of technical controls and strong troubleshooting skills.</li><li>Ability to work independently and solve problems.</li><li>Demonstration of a professional attitude and courtesy towards others.</li><li>Willingness to travel/work overtime/work any shift/work weekends.</li><li>Valid Driver's License and Passport.</li><li>Able to read and understand mechanical engineering drawings.</li><li>Strong aptitude for continued learning and troubleshooting.</li><li>Software capabilities: AutoCAD and 3D design preferred.</li><li>Knowledge of Mechanical Assemblies, fixturing, tooling, industrial automation preferred.</li><li>Familiarity with specifications for building, foundations, electrical preferred.</li><li>Able to read and understand controls drawings preferred.</li><li>Able to read and understand electrical diagrams preferred</li></ul> Warum wir? <strong>What’s in It for You?</strong><br>We offer competitive pay and a supportive environment:<br><ul><li><strong>Compensation</strong>: Annual On-Target Earnings</li><li><strong>Benefits</strong>: Comprehensive package including health, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance.</li><li><strong>Retirement</strong>: 401(k) plan with company match.</li><li><strong>Work-Life Balance</strong>: Generous paid time off and holiday pay.</li></ul><strong>The Details</strong><br><ul><li><strong>Type</strong>: Full-time, salaried (exempt).</li><li><strong>Location</strong>: North America</li></ul>
