About this role

Your mission We are looking for a hands-on Project Controller to strengthen financial transparency and capital discipline across our development projects. The Project Controller will report to the Head of Controlling.<br>In this role, you will work at the intersection of Finance and Operations, ensuring that project costs, development expenditure, Capex and financial forecasts are reliable, transparent and decision-ready. Your contribution will directly support management steering and investment decisions as Cube Green Energy and SUNfarming continue to scale their renewable energy platform.<br>This is a hands-on role in a dynamic growth environment, focused on building structure, improving visibility and embedding financial discipline at project level.<br><ul><li>Track development expenditures, DevEx and Capex against approved budgets</li><li>Identify deviations early and prepare structured variance analyses</li><li>Ensure clear cost allocation, documentation and transparency across project phases</li><li>Review and challenge project cost assumptions, budgets and forecasts</li><li>Validate financial inputs provided by project teams</li><li>Support fact-based discussions on cost development, risks and funding implications</li><li>Support investment approval processes with structured financial data</li><li>Provide scenario and sensitivity analyses where required</li><li>Ensure project data feeds into group-level performance steering</li><li>Prepare regular project controlling reports</li><li>Align project data with FP&amp;A and liquidity planning</li><li>Ensure consistency between project budgets, forecasts and cash implications</li><li>Support the preparation of management reporting materials</li></ul> Your profile <ul><li>Degree in Finance, Controlling, Business Administration or a related field</li><li>3–6 years of experience in project controlling, operational controlling or a comparable finance role</li><li>Strong analytical skills and a structured working style</li><li>Ability to challenge assumptions constructively and independently</li><li>Strong understanding of budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis</li><li>Hands-on mindset with a strong execution focus</li><li>Advanced Excel skills; ERP knowledge required, NetSuite experience is a plus</li><li>Strong communication skills and ability to work across Finance and Operations</li><li>Ownership mindset and a proactive approach to problem-solving</li><li>Ability to create structure and improve transparency in a growing organization</li><li>Confidence in working with project teams, finance stakeholders and management</li><li>Pragmatic, detail-oriented working style</li><li>Interest in contributing to financial discipline and scalable finance processes in a renewable energy platform</li></ul>You will play a key role in strengthening project cost transparency, capital discipline and financial decision-making across the group.
