Main duties of the job Key Responsibilities of the Facilities Manager:

Health & Safety Compliance: Ensures that all hospital facilities meet regulatory health and safety standards to maintain a safe environment for patients, staff, and visitors Fire Compliance: Monitors fire safety protocols, ensuring adherence to regulations and best practices to mitigate risks Contract Management: Oversees the CBRE contract, ensuring service levels are met and costs are effectively controlled Operational Efficiency: Directly line-manages porters and housekeepers, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations that contribute to patient care and hospital cleanliness

Physiotherapy clinic, Onsite Pharmacy, Mammography, Xray and Ultrasound, with nine consulting rooms in Outpatients.

We are seeking a Facilities Manager to provide leadership and oversight of essential hospital facilities services. This critical role is responsible for maintaining high standards of health and safety, ensuring compliance with fire safety regulations, managing the performance and delivery of the CBRE contract, and leading key operational teams, including porters and housekeepers. A dedicated Facilities Manager is vital to ensuring regulatory compliance, operational effectiveness, and a safe environment for patients, staff, and visitors. Without this role, there is an increased risk to service delivery, compliance standards, and patient safety.
