This is a full-time position working,37.5 hours a weekwith a combination of shifts;Days = 07:00 - 19:30andNights = 19:00 - 07:30, Monday to Sunday.
Main duties of the job
As our Inpatient Registered Nurse, you will be:
Providing high-quality patient care, ensuring their welfare, safety, and comfort. Collaborating with doctors, surgeons, anaesthetists, and the wider multidisciplinary team to ensure seamless treatment. Managing patient admissions, establishing strong relationships, and ensuring all documentation is completed. Monitoring patient progress, planning new interventions, and ensuring optimal patient outcomes. Maintaining accurate records in both paper and electronic formats. Supporting and mentoring junior nursing staff and healthcare assistants to foster a strong team environment. Ensuring compliance with infection control policies, health & safety regulations, and hospital standards. Participating in audits, training, and staff development, continuously improving clinical practices.
About us
You will be a NMC Registered Nurse with at least one year of post-registration experience, with:
Experience working in a surgical or inpatient setting. Strong clinical knowledge and a commitment to delivering excellent patient care. Effective communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate across departments. Awareness of Health & Safety, Infection Control, and Quality Standards. A proactive and problem-solving approach to patient care. What you can expect in return:
