We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Mental Health Support Worker to join our team at HMP Stocken, Category C men's prison located in the parish of Stretton, in the county of Rutland, England
Hours 37.5 hours per week Monday - Friday: core office hours

Main duties of the job As our new Senior Mental Health Support Worker, you will:
You will assist the mental health team in the delivery of immediate and, where appropriate, ongoing care for patients referred to the service. Be expected to delivery structured intervention on a 1:1 and group basis to individuals experiencing mental health difficulties, including people with anxiety and depression. Contribute to the positive and aspirational workings of the integrated mental health care team, ensuring that each and every patient is treated with care, respect and dignity. In addition to this, the post holder will also be responsible for completing physical health monitoring as required, this includes taking blood and completing physical observations - training can be provided. -

Experienced in healthcare settings, preferably mental health settings. Previous training, or willingness to complete training around physical health monitoring including venepuncture, NEWS2 and ECGs. Experience in the delivery of mental health interventions.
