Job summary
The candidate should have excellent communication skills and the ability to work within a busy team environment across 2 sites between the hours of 7.30am-7.30pm.
To answer busy telephone lines, to provide general assistance to patients and to the practice team as well as project a positive and friendly attitude.
To undertake general reception tasks & other administration duties

About us
We are a very busy practice which cares for a patient population of 14,000 patients.
Our practice is led by 8 GP partners, 5 salaried GP's along with a full compliment of a nursing and administration and clerical staff.
We use SystmOne clinical system.
We are a training practice for Registrars, Medical Students and Student Nurses. We are also a research ready practice and actively take part in research.
We pride ourselves on delivering good quality care.

Job description Job responsibilities
Ensure an effective and efficient reception service is provided to patients and any other visitors to the practice. Receive, assist and direct patients to the appropriate healthcare professional.
Telephones are answered within a timely fashion and patients/queries are navigated to the correct service.
To be professional, courteous and efficient in a effective way.
Undertake a variety of administrative duties to assist in the smooth running of the practice including the provision of clerical support to clinical staff and other members of the practice team.
Facilitate effective communication between patients, members of the primary health care team, secondary care and other associated healthcare agencies.
