Main duties of the job As a Registered Nurse at Avery Healthcare, you will be vital in providing exceptional care to residents. Your responsibilities include acting as a person in charge in the absence of the Manager, undertaking nursing tasks such as medication distribution, dressings, catheterisation, and managing chronic medical conditions. You will also advise families and GPs on any changes in a resident's condition, deploy care staff effectively, and ensure accurate assessment and planning to maintain high care standards. ABOUT THE ROLE
Your focus asa Registered Nursewill beto act as person in charge,standingin for the Manager asrequiredandobserveall instructions to act upon his/her behalfwhilst youensurehigh standardsof care toourresidents.
Other responsibilitieswillinclude:
Undertakingnursing tasks including distribution of medication, dressings, catheterisation, tube feeding and management of chronic medical conditions. Advisingfamilies of residents andGPsof any changes in condition, which gives rise to concern and keeps them informed and involved in choices for ongoing care. Responsibilityfor the effective deployment and supervision of staff within the care team, ensuring all tasks are completed during the period of duty and residents receive required care. Providing high standards of care by undertaking accurate assessment and planning.

Our ideal candidatemust:
Hold a First Level qualification and current NMC Registration. Demonstrate a minimum 2 years experience and up to date knowledge of care,supported by relevant post-basic studies/qualification. Display goodinterpersonal skills and ability to instruct and demonstrate care activities. Have sound knowledge of care planning and its practical application.

Qualifications Essential
Applicants must hold a First Level qualification and current NMC Registration. Additionally, at least two years of experience and up-to-date knowledge of care supported by relevant post-basic studies/qualification are required. The ideal candidate should possess strong interpersonal skills and the ability to instruct and demonstrate care activities, alongside sound knowledge of care planning and its practical application.
