Job summary
We are looking for an ACP or a Paramedic to join the team of clinicians at Kingfisher Family Practice.
We are located in Retford which is semi rural and as such some of the work required will involve visits to patients in their own homes.
The role will also involve seeing patients via a clinic based appointment list at Kingfisher Family Practice. The ideal candidate will be able to prescribe however we are willing to support employees to achieve prescribing status during employment with us.
We have almost 16000 patients and strive to be a good place to work whilst providing excellent standards of patient care.
Main duties of the job
The successful candidate will act within their professional boundary and provide an advanced level of clinical practice. They will use independent judgement to assess, investigate, diagnose, plan, and implement care and management of patients presenting in primary care and within the community. The successful candidate will demonstrate safe, clinical decision-making and expert care and will work collaboratively with the multi-disciplinary General Practice team to meet the needs of patients.
The post holder will also assist in the development and implementation of relevant policies for the Practice and provide education to service users, promoting self-care and empower them to make informed choices about their treatment.
