Job summary Theatre Practitioner (Bank)

York Hospital | Ophthalmic scrub | Bank | Part Time | Includes weekend work | Upto £30.00 per hour depending on skills and experience

Main duties of the job As an Ophthalmology Theatre Practitioner Nurse / ODP, you will:

Enjoy a varied caseload with state-of-the-art technology, equipment and facilities

Deliver the highest standards of care for our pre-operative patients

Carry out nurse-led pre-operative assessments prior to ophthalmic surgery

Assist with ophthalmic treatments like laser surgery and other minor procedures

Embrace education and training in new techniques

Ensure the team's practice is up to date and in line withNICEguidance

Qualifications Essential

As an Ophthalmology Theatre Practitioner Nurse / ODP at our [insert hospital name], you'll be registered with the appropriate governing body, with the qualifications and experience that are relevant to your registration, including NMC or HCPC.
