Job summary
Cleckheaton Group Practice is looking to recruit an enthusiastic, compassionate and motivated GP to join our welcoming and highly supportive team on a fixed-term contract until the end of this financial year (31/3/2027). The contract will run until 31 March 2027.This role presents an excellent opportunity for a GP seeking a flexible and rewarding position within a well-established practice. Main duties of the job
Provided comprehensive primary care services to a diverse patient population, including assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and ongoing management of acute and chronic medical conditions. Conducted face-to-face, telephone. Prescribe medications appropriately, and make referrals to secondary care and community services when required. Maintained accurate and timely clinical records using electronic patient record systems. Participate in multidisciplinary team working, clinical meetings, safeguarding activities, quality improvement initiatives, and practice development. Contributed to health promotion, preventive care, and the delivery of NHS contractual requirements while ensuring high standards of patient care, confidentiality, and professional practice. Fixed term contract ending 31st March 2027, 2 sessions per week preferred sessions .

Person Specification
Experience Essential
Experience of working in primary care and delivering high-quality patient-centred services. Experience in the assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and management of a wide range of acute and chronic conditions. Experience of using electronic clinical record systems such as SystmOne Experience of working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
Qualifications Essential
Qualified GP Certificate of Completed Training Performers list registration Evidence of current validation Evidence of last appraisal Eligibility to practice in the UK independently
