We are seeking Recruitment Advisors to join our busy and supportive Recruitment Team. The team provides a comprehensive recruitment service to managers and candidates across the Trust, ensuring vacancies are filled efficiently and in line with NHS Employment Check Standards.
As a Recruitment Advisor, you will manage recruitment activity from approval to appointment, providing advice and guidance to recruiting managers while ensuring all pre-employment checks are completed accurately and within agreed timescales. You will liaise with candidates throughout the recruitment process, keeping them informed of progress and supporting them with outstanding documentation.
You will confidently use electronic recruitment systems, including Trac, to manage vacancies and support recruiting managers and candidates while ensuring compliance with NHS Employment Check Standards and Trust policies.
The role requires excellent organisational skills, attention to detail and the ability to communicate professionally with a wide range of stakeholders. You will handle sensitive and confidential information and play a key role in helping the Trust attract and appoint the best talent.
Main duties of the job
The successful candidate will:
o Provide an administrative and advisory service to applicants, recruiting managers and other stakeholders throughout the recruitment process.o Monitor candidate progress through Trac, ensuring all recruitment activities and pre-employment checks are recorded appropriately, whilst ensuring compliance with Trust policies and NHS Employment Check Standards.o Support Recruiting Managers in their use of Trac, providing advice and guidance on recruitment processes and system functionality.o Liaise with candidates regarding applications, pre-employment checks and outstanding documentation.o Utilise the Trac recruitment system to manage vacancies from approval to appointment, ensuring records are maintained accurately and in a timely mannero Undertake pre-employment checks including references, DBS checks, occupational health clearances, professional registration checks, qualification verification and right to work checks.o Maintain accurate records on Trac, ESR and other recruitment systems.o Coordinate vacancy advertising and recruitment campaigns.o Support the delivery of recruitment training and promote inclusive recruitment practices.o Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to streamline recruitment processes and improve recruitment lead times.o Promote the Trust as an employer of choice through attendance at recruitment events and engagement activities when required.

Administering all aspects of the recruitment process from vacancy approval through to appointment. Advising managers on recruitment procedures, best practice and compliance requirements. Coordinating recruitment timelines, including advertising, shortlisting and interview arrangements. Completing NHS pre-employment checks in accordance with NHS Employment Check Standards. Undertaking and recording right to work checks and escalating complex immigration queries where required. Maintaining recruitment records within Trac, ESR and associated systems. Responding to recruitment enquiries from managers, candidates and external organisations. Supporting recruitment training and continuous service improvement initiatives. Promoting fair, open and inclusive recruitment practices.

Person Specification
Qualifications Essential
GCSE English Language (or equivalent qualification). Understanding of recruitment-related legislation, including employment law, equality and diversity, data protection and right to work requirements, gained through training and/or experience. NNVQ Level 3 in Business Admin or Customer Care or equivalent level of experience
Desirable
CIPD Foundation Certificate in Human Resource Practice.
Experience Essential
Experience of using electronic systems to maintain accurate records and manage administrative processes. Previous experience of administering recruitment processes through an applicant tracking system (ATS).
Desirable
Knowledge of the Trac recruitment system. Understanding of the end-to-end recruitment lifecycle within a recruitment management system.
Skills/Knowledge & Abilities Essential
