Job summary
The Royal Well Surgery is looking to recruit a friendly, motivated and reliable Receptionist to join our busy and supportive practice team.
As the first point of contact for patients, you will play a key role in delivering excellent customer service and ensuring patients receive a professional and efficient experience. The successful candidate will have strong communication skills, a positive attitude and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Previous reception or customer service experience is desirable but not essential, as training will be provided.
Main duties of the job
The main duties of the role will be managing incoming telephone calls from patients and other healthcare professionals, dealing with patient enquiries, booking and managing appointments, processing requests, and signposting patients to the most appropriate service.
The role is primarily telephone based, but at times the post holder will provide reception support as and when required, including greeting patients, checking patients in for appointments and responding to face to face enquires.
